A group of Cymoedd learners studying on the BA (hons) Costume Construction for Screen & Stage course at the Nantgarw campus have recently celebrated their graduation.
Congratulating the learners Course Tutor, Caroline Thomas said “This has been a particularly strong year for the BA (hons) Costume Construction for Screen & Stage cohort. Throughout the year all learners entered a national competition run by the Costume Society of Great Britain with one learner, Helen Shipp, getting through to the final.
Alongside their studies, all learners have also been working with industry professionals at BBC Roath Locke studios on Dr. Who.
Rhiannon Hawthorn has successfully secured a placement in the Royal Shakespeare company and another, Rhiannon Harris has beaten industry professionals to secure a full time job in the West End as a swing dresser.
