EBS : OnTrack
EBS: Ontrack at Coleg Y Cymoedd is an online tool to help you stay in control of your learning and progress.
Working with your tutors, you can view your Individual Learning Plan(s), and set targets which will help you achieve your personal and academic goals. These are regularly reviewed and monitored, and with your tutors you can revise your goals as the year progresses.
In addition, EBS: Ontrack gives you access to your timetable, attendance, registers and Pastoral messages and logs which fully support you during your time with us.

When you access OnTrack outside of the College network (i.e at home), please use your College computer network account that you are given when you enrol to access EBS: Ontrack.
Moodle and Meddwl (best viewed in Google Chrome)
Moodle is your online learning area where you can access key course information, view teaching and learning resources, submit your written assignments, and be part of a community of learners on your course, with access 24/7.
It is simple to use, and can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection – at home, at College or even your nearest coffee shop.
On Moodle you’ll find a range of resources including:
- Course hand-outs
- Helpful links
- Video and interactive resources
- Discussion forums
New services are being added all the time to improve your experience of studying at Coleg Y Cymoedd.

Office 365 (Microsoft ‘Cloud based’ Services for Students)
Office 365 Education is a collection of familiar online services that allows you to communicate, collaborate and share your College work.
It’s available for free to all students attending Coleg Y Cymoedd, and includes:
- Outlook email (your free College email account)
- Office Online (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote)
- OneDrive storage (Allowing you to create and access your college work from anywhere, with any device)
You can also install the full Office applications on up to 5 PCs or Macs for free. As well as add a load of free Office Apps to your phone or tablet.

Self Account Management (SAM)
SAM is an online College application which is used to activate your student computer account at the beginning of your studies.
Or if you forget your password at any time after your account has been activated, SAM can be used to reset it.
