You will study Behaviour and Health, Psychology, Human Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Reflection, Numeracy and Communications. All subject areas and Communications are studied at Level 3; Numeracy is studied at Level 2.

You will require GCSE Welsh / English Language and GCSE Maths/Numeracy grades A*-C or Essential Skills Wales Numeracy and Communication level 2 or Skills for Further Study diploma completion or a Level 2 vocational qualification.

An entry assessment will be required If qualifications are older than 3 years or you have no previous qualifications. The assessment will include aspects of literacy and numeracy to determine that you are capable of working at level 3. A successful interview for all applicants is required.

You will be assessed by continual assessment, essays, portfolios, projects and oral presentations with some end-of-unit tests. You will also be expected to maintain your course files and all portfolios to the required standards.

After successfully completing of this course, you will be able to apply for Honours degree courses in Higher Education in a wide range of Health-related courses at a University or Higher Education Institution of your choice. You will be supported with your application to continue your journey by your group tutor.
