You will explore the fundamentals of IT and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding to design, make and review various different types of software and hardware technologies. You will learn all about the online world, customer service skills, the principles of networking and IT support as well as skills in web design, digital graphics and digital animation.
4 GCSEs at grade D or above (including Maths and English or Welsh first Language), or equivalent level 1 qualifications
You will be assessed with a combination of assignments, an online test for one unit and practical hands on and work-related tasks.
Successful completion of this course may provide opportunities for progression onto further learning at L3, an apprenticeship or into employment
