5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English or Welsh first Language), or equivalent level 2 qualifications
To gain the Level 3 in Sport, you must complete internal assessments in all units. Assessment will cover:
• Practical skills
• Oral questioning
• Assignment work
• Written questions
All units are assessed, graded, and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded.
The course gives you the skills needed to understand the sport and recreation sector and the employment opportunities available to you on completion of the course. These qualifications can also contribute towards applications for higher education where you can pursue degree-level qualifications.
