What Will I Learn?
You will learn a variety of topics to ensure that you’re ready to progress on your journey in the media production industry. We cover foundational skills in filming, editing, audio and animation. These skills give you an excellent foundation to progress into a media area that interest you.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grade E or above, including Maths and Welsh (First Language) or English, or an Entry Level 3 qualification with a Merit or higher.
Assessment
To be successful in this qualification you will need to complete practical assessments and an evidence-based portfolio.
Career Progression
Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress to level 2, specialising in TV and film or Gaming and animation.
