This Level 3 UAL Creative Media course offers a two-year pathway designed for those passionate about pursuing creative careers. In the first year, students will complete a Level 3 Diploma, with the opportunity to progress to a second year and achieve the Extended Diploma.
Year 1: Level 3 Diploma In the first year, you will focus on building a strong foundation in your chosen pathway—Graphic Design, Illustration, Film, Photography, Advertising or animation. You will engage in project-based learning, technical workshops, and collaborative projects to develop core creative skills. By the end of this year, you will have completed the Level 3 Diploma, which provides a solid qualification for entry-level roles or further study. Year 2: Extended Diploma Students who successfully complete the first year and demonstrate a commitment to furthering their skills have the opportunity to return for a second year to achieve the Extended Diploma. This second year allows for deeper exploration of your pathway, offering advanced projects, increased specialization, and more opportunities to collaborate. The Extended Diploma provides a higher-level qualification, equivalent to three A-Levels, and is widely recognized for university applications or higher-level apprenticeships.
5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English or Welsh first Language), or equivalent level 2 qualifications
