You will study a BTEC qualification in Skills for Independence and Work as well as qualifications in Essential Skill’s Wales Communications and Numeracy.

You must be working at Entry Level 1 / 2 in Literacy and Numeracy. Working towards E2 qualifications.

You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.

You will be assessed in a variety of ways. Some subjects are assessed by collecting your work together and completing an assessment at the end of the unit. You will complete assignments for literacy and numeracy also.

On successful completion of this course you may have the opportunity to progress onto higher level courses in a vocational area or advice will be given on other progression routes available.
