This course will develop your skills in the trade areas of Electrical and Plumbing. You will study 6 core units:- Unit 1 – The Built Environment Unit 2 – The Trades Unit 3 – The Building Life Cycle Unit 4 – Employability Unit 5 – Health, Safety, Environment Unit 6 – Emerging Technologies
GCSE Grade D or above in Maths and Grade E English or Welsh first Language), or equivalent level 1 qualifications (in this trade)
You will be assessed through practical assessments, demonstrating your ability to do the job and assignments and external examinations.
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to progress onto the Level 2 Progression in Electrical Installations or seek employment in the electrical installations industry.
Purchase of relevant stationery, steel toe-capped boots, overalls and a course textbook is required for this course. Please discuss this at interview stage with a tutor after you have applied.
