There are no formal entry requirements and the course is ideally suited if you are looking to work, or are just starting out, in the field of Manufacturing or Engineering design and need to gain skills in CAD solid modelling
The course is assessed by: Two in class assignments covering the practical skills developed through the year. One in class short answer test covering the underpinning knowledge required.
The course can help you find work in a range of roles including: CAD Technician CAD/CAM Programmer CNC Machinist Engineering Designer This qualification can also lead to further study at higher levels.
