This Barbering qualification will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills to enable you to advise and consult with men on the type of haircut and facial hair shaping the way they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. You will also learn how to work in a safe manner throughout the service protecting both yourself and your clients.
Whilst there are no formal prerequisite qualifications this course is aimed at those who have industry experience or level 1 qualifications in this sector. You will be required to attend an interview.
You will be assessed via a range of methods which include continual assessment, through observation of your practical work, the completion of a portfolio, theoretical evidence and assignment work. There may also be external examinations.
On successful completion of this course you could progress to Level 3 Barbering
Salon Uniform, course equipment kit and salon fees are required for this course. Estimated costs, details for ordering/payment and potential application for financial support/assistance will be discussed on interview, and confirmed following receipt of supplier quotes.
