Progression in Bricklaying (Level 2)

You will carry out practical tasks and gain the underpinning knowledge in bricklaying and block laying, the setting out of basic structures, Feature brickwork, Safe and efficient working practices and Basic working platforms (scaffolding).

You will also complete your Employee Rights and Responsibilities (E.R.R) and Abrasive Wheels Certificates.
You will also be required to complete the Construction Site Safety - Health & Safety test; which will then enable you to apply for the Site Safety Card (CSCS card) required to work on a construction site.

Successful completion of Foundation qualification for the trade area

You will be assed through a range of practical tasks, projects and written assignments, and an external online, multi-choice examination will be completed.

On successful completion of this course you may be able to progress to a Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Purchase of steel toe capped boots, overalls and a course text book is required for this course. Please discuss this at interview stage with a tutor after you have applied.
