Update 30th November 2021
As a result of the emergence of the new Omicron strain of Covid-19, Welsh Government has introduced new measures in secondary schools and colleges. All staff and learners should now wear face coverings while indoors, including in classrooms (If you have an exemption, please wear your lanyard to avoid being frequently challenged)
Remember:
Please use our COVID form on the Learner Portal Home tab to inform us of a positive test result or if you are isolating.
The Welsh Government and Public Health Wales have made lateral flow devices (LFDs) available for college learners and staff.
These testing packs can be collected from main reception at each campus.
The Welsh Government are asking learners and staff to test twice-weekly (two to three days apart) to ensure that we reduce the risk of transmission wherever possible.
.
Face coverings are required in all indoor spaces including classrooms (If you have an exemption, please wear your lanyard to avoid being frequently challenged)
.
To view the latest requirements and rules for self isolation (such as who needs to, when, length of time) , we recommend you follow the latest advice from Welsh Government Self Isolation
When a confirmed case of COVID-19 is identified as attending college (staff or learner) contact will be made with the case (or parent) to assess whether they attended the college during their infectious period and whether further tracing of contacts in the college is needed.
If any staff member or learner within the college is a contact of the case, they will be required to self-isolate for 10 days and contacted by your local Test, Trace, Protect (TTP) team or Education Department.
If a staff member or learner from the college is not a contact of the case, they will not be required to self-isolate.
.
Please report a a positive test result or notify us you are isolating as soon as possible
