This course is designed to provide you with an engaging and stimulating introduction to the world of media.
What Will I Learn?
You will study a variety of topics to include, Planning and Pitching a Product, Digital Media Sectors and Audiences, Digital Moving Image Production, Digital Audio Production, Digital Publishing Production, Website Production and Digital Games Production.
4 GCSEs at grades A*- D preferably including English/Welsh and Maths/Numeracy or ESW at Level 2, or a Level 1 sector skills course qualification.
To be successful in this qualification you will need to complete practical and assessments and an evidence based portfolio.

Workers in this unit group operate and assist with still, cine and television cameras and operate other equipment to record, manipulate and project sound and vision for entertainment, cultural, commercial and industrial purposes.
There are no set academic requirements although entrants usually possess GCSEs/S grades, A levels/H grades and are able to demonstrate proof of pre- entry work experience. A variety of diplomas, degrees and postgraduate qualifications are available. NVQs/SVQs in Photography are available at Levels 2, 3 and 4.
