This course prepares you for employment in the financial services sector or progression to Higher Education to study Business and Financial Service qualifications.
The objective of the course is to provide a supportive and friendly environment to enable you to develop your potential and to prepare you for University-level study.
What Will I Learn?
You will study units including Customer Services, Ethics in Financial Services, Banking, Communication Skills at Level 3 and Numeracy & IT at Level 2 as well as completing an Investigative Project/Extended Essay.
A range of units are studied for each subject area.
No formal qualifications are required however you will be invited to undertake a literacy and numeracy assessment prior to interview to determine your suitability for the course. As the course requires a high level of dedication and academic rigour, you may be directed to a more appropriate programme of study.
You will be continually assessed with at least one controlled assessment in each subject area. Assignments are graded Pass, Merit, or Distinction. You will also be expected to maintain your course files and all portfolios to the required standards.
