Course Information

This course is aimed at practising electricians, electrical contractors and professionals and is intended to ensure that they are conversant with the format, content and the application of BS 7671:2008, amended 2011.

What Will I Learn?

You will study the following modules: The details of all parts of BS7671; The selection and sizing of cables; the sizing of protective conductors; Special Locations and Use of the IEE On-Site Guide, in preparation for the City & Guilds examination.

Entry Requirements

You will require City & Guilds 2360, 2351 or 2330 qualifications together with experience in the Electrical Contracting industry.

Those with other related professional qualifications will also be considered. We would advise that the course is not suitable for beginners.


You will be assessed by an on-line, multi-choice examination.
