This course has been developed to meet the needs of the Care Sector. The qualification underpins the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to work in a range of care settings. Two days a week will be spent in placement and two days a week in college.
What Will I Learn?
You will complete the QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 along with a Certificate in Work Skills and a two-week Induction Training Programme with Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, plus satisfactory references. You must have clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service. You will be invited to attend an interview and you will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required.
The course is assessed by unit assignments. You will be continually assessed in college, and at your work placement, for the development of your practical skills.
