This course is suitable for people who want to study business administration. It will equip you with essential skills and knowledge required to progress into a business administrator apprenticeship or an administration-related job role.
It will also enable you to acquire a range of transferable skills and knowledge which are highly regarded by employers such as planning, researching, analysing, working with others and effective communication.
What Will I Learn?
You will study a range of units which will give you the knowledge and understanding of the principles of working in an administrative role.
You will study 5 mandatory units (Business Purposes, Business Organisations, Financial Forecasting for Business, People in Organisations and The Marketing Plan).
In addition, you will also study optional units including Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication in Business Contexts, Business Communication Through Documentation, Business Online and Customer Relations in Business.
You will require 4 GCSEs at grades A*- D including English/Welsh and Maths/Numeracy or a Level 1 in Business or a related vocational qualification.
You will be invited to attend an interview. During this time you will be assessed in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required.
Units are internally assessed by college assessors and quality assurance staff and externally moderated by OCR moderators.
