This course will motivate you to creatively explore Art, Media, Design, Music, Craft and Photography. The course is structured into nine units; all are practical with some element of theory and instruction
The course is flexible and allows you to explore Creative Arts and Media to give you a general interest and a sound base for you to progress in your studies. All learners will have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud.
What Will I Learn?
You will learn to think creatively about the world around you and sample a range of disciplines that will include Art, Media, Design, Music and various Craft skills. Following on from the creative process, you will have workshop time that will motivate you to develop new skills.
You will require 3 GCSEs at A*- E at grades A*-E or Entry Level 3 Literacy and Numeracy and a Foundation Level qualification.
You will also be required to undertake an initial assessment in literacy and numeracy during the first few weeks to establish any support required.
You will be assessed at the end of each unit throughout the course and there are no formal examinations.

- On successful completion and a personal tutor reference, this creative qualification will enable you to specialise in a Level 2 course of your choice within creative industries, or you will be able to transfer your personal and employability skills to the workplace. This course could form the foundation for many other vocational courses. It is possible to continue to progress through to Level 3 and degree level with successful completion at each stage. The Creative Industries of South Wales are looking for strong creative thinkers and this course could be the start of an exciting career.

Advertising accounts managers and creative directors plan, design, organise and direct the advertising activities of an organisation.
Entry is generally via career progression from related occupations. There are no pre-set entry standards, but in practice most directors hold a degree. Off- and on-the-job training is provided.
