The Diploma in Construction & Built Environment is a part-time course specifically designed for people who have successfully completed a Subsidiary Diploma in Construction or Surveying.
The Diploma will give people greater knowledge and understanding of the construction industry and will allow progression onto degree programmes.
What Will I Learn?
An additional six modules are required to top up from the Subsidiary Diploma to the Diploma.
Modules will include a mix of: site surveying; science & materials; design technology & building regulations.
In addition emphasis is also placed on employability skills, such as research skills, team work, presentation skills which are an important part of the course.
Successful completion of a level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Construction/Surveying
Learners will complete a range of practical tasks, written assignments and examinations. Each module is graded with an overall Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Purchase of steel toe capped boots, overalls and a course text book is required for this course. Please discuss this at interview stage with a tutor after you have applied.
