Course Information
The college offers both Intermediate tier (grades B to E) and Higher tier (grades A* to C).
What Will I Learn?
The GCSE course is designed to improve your Maths in the following areas: number; algebra; shape and space; handling data and applying Mathematics. You will also cover calculator skills and exam techniques.
Entry Requirements
Entry to Intermediate tier: Grade D. Entry to Higher tier: Grade C
There is no age limit. You will need a scientific calculator and geometry set and may be required to buy a study workbook.
Assessment
There are two examinations at the end of the academic year; one with a calculator and one without. You will be assessed throughout the year to monitor your progress.
