Course Information
Through workshop and classroom sessions alongside work experience, this course gives you valuable experience in various construction trades and aims to improve essential skills and employability.
What Will I Learn?
Following the -practical skills curriculum you will study a Certificate in Vocational Studies, which can include Painting & Decorating, Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plastering, Building maintenance, Construction Theory and Essential Skills.
Additional qualifications include the Essential Skills Wales in Communications, Numeracy.
Entry Requirements
You must be working at Entry Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy and will be working towards Entry 3 qualifications.
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
Assessment
Your work will be assessed by a range of methods, including portfolios and examinations
