Following the hospitality and catering curriculum you will study within a realistic working environment.
You will study: An Introduction to Food Hygiene & Safe Practice, Developing Food Preparation & Cooking Skills, Developing Food Service Skills. Additional qualifications include the Essential Skills Wales in Communications and Numeracy, plus a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
You must be working at Entry Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy. Working towards Entry 3 qualifications.
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
Your work will be assessed by a range of methods, including portfolios and written assignments.
On successful completion of this course you may progress to other higher level courses or to employment.
