Hannah Gosney – Production Manager
After completing an Edexcel Diploma in Foundation Art & Design at GCADT (now Coleg y Cymoedd), Hannah was the first to go to university in her family. Having no links to the media industry, Hannah persevered and landed her first job in the media.
Starting out as an Office Assistant/Runner, Hannah has now been in the industry for 11 years, working her way up to her current position as a Production Manager. She’s had a varied career along the way working at commercial and corporate companies on adverts like Confused.com and with clients such as Nationwide; to providing special effects equipment and crew to the likes of Doctor Who and Peaky Blinders. More often than not you’ll find her working on her favourite genre - factual entertainment programmes, which can involve sending crews all over the world or locally to places like good old Merthyr Tydfil.
A large part of Hannah’s role as a Production Manager is recruiting staff. Creating job adverts and conducting interviews has resulted in Hannah seeing a lot of CV’s both good and bad, so she is well placed to help with CV writing, job applications and interview techniques.
Hannah lives with her animator husband and cat. In her free time she loves to watch films & TV and is a closet nerd with a love for all things Marvel. She has a creative side itching to get out when she has the time. However, she’s not always the best at it and just can’t get her head around how to crochet despite being desperate to learn.
