Millie Easley

I am Millie Easley, I am 18 years old and I live in Caerphilly. I left school at 16 and decided that I had an interest in the Business industry but I was unsure as to what specific career path I wanted to follow within that industry. Therefore, I decided that college would be the best option for me to further my education. Deciding to go to college was the best decision I made, I now have many wonderful friends, numerous fantastic memories and an honourable qualification from the course I chose to study at the college

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business

What do you intend to do next/what are you doing now that you have left?

Now I have completed my course and achieved the grades I needed in order to pursue my career within the Health & Safety industry. I have been successful in enrolling onto the NEBOSH qualification, an advanced Health & safety course that will put me in a very strong position in order to apply for jobs within the sector.

How is the course helping you achieve your ambitions?

By completing my course at Coleg y Cymoedd it has shown me a variety of areas within the Business industry, allowing me to view career paths that I had not even considered before. By studying a variety of different modules, it helped me greatly in deciding the career path I have chosen to follow.

How will studying impact on your life?

After achieving my qualification at college I am now in a great position to succeed in the future, I have gained a lot of independence since studying here and I have massively progressed as a person during my time here.

Would you recommend this college and this course to others?

I would highly recommend my course to anyone who is interested in Business, by studying a variety of modules; it gives you knowledge in numerous areas of business. The college is a great place to study, make new friends and gain new experiences.
