Every business needs Business!
Twenty one year old, Rebecca Livock from Pontypridd has her tutors at Coleg y Cymoedd to thank for her success in the Business World.
On completion of her GCSE’s at school, which included Business studies; Rebecca enrolled on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business, at Cymoedd’s Nantgarw campus. The college boasts a strong Business department, with a wealth of experience amongst the staff; which gave Rebecca the confidence that with their support she would progress and achieve her goals.
The range of course modules really interested Rebecca as she was keen to learn all aspects of business, including how a business works, what makes it grow and how each department works together to make a successful business. The course provided the knowledge to achieve the qualification and also helped to develop the skills required by employers.
Speaking about her studies at Coleg y Cymoedd Rebecca said “I cannot thank my tutors enough for helping me to be successful, they could not do enough. Kim, Steve, Mark & Yvonne all pushed me to get the best marks. They were always there to offer help, if it was needed and would often stay after hours to help with any issues I had”.
Rebecca now works in a small independent brokerage and currently manages her own department. She is keen to continue her studies and states ‘Every day you learn something new’. She is hoping to complete a Sign Language course at the college, alongside her CII diploma.
Proud to hear of Rebecca’s achievements, the Business Team at the college added” We are all delighted to see how well Rebecca’s career has progressed since achieving her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business with us at Coleg y Cymoedd. It was evident that the skills and knowledge gained by Rebecca during the course, together with her determination and motivation to succeed, would enable her to establish a great career; we are absolutely thrilled with her success so far”.
