Lecturer with AHOS duties – Independent Living Skills (Remission hours)

To prepare, deliver, and manage effective learning strategies to ensure learners attain agreed objectives and qualifications. You would set high expectations for learners and contribute to an environment that encourages all learners to be aspirational. The postholder will teach on a range of courses and levels, withteaching hours per week. Remission hours are allocated for Assistant Head of School duties, supporting the Head of School in operational, quality, and leadership tasks. You will be a positive role model for all staff in the school and will be responsible for ensuring that the school meets the day-to-day operational standards while meeting the requirements of the college’s quality processes. You will also have a teaching commitment alongside remitted hours to undertake the role. The successful candidate will also play a key role in ensuring that provision for learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) is robust, inclusive, and aligned with statutory requirements, promoting personalised approaches that enable every learner to thrive
