Electrical Engineering Assessor

As an Assessor you will develop and deliver work based training and assessment programmes within area of expertise. You will generate new local/ regional business relationships to increase work based learning activities and to maintain own caseload and work under the direction of the coordinator for the area of expertise.

Enterprise, Skills and Employability Coordinator

Ystrad Mynach Campus

The post holder will be part of the Futures Team supporting entrepreneurship, employability, skills and Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). The role is to coordinate and support learners with enterprise skills necessary for successful employment and career development. In addition, the post holder will ensure that learners’ employability and enterprise skills are recognised by participation in internal and external skills competitions

Head of Wellbeing & Safeguarding

Ystrad Mynach/Nantgarw

As Head of Wellbeing & Safeguarding, you will provide effective leadership and management of wellbeing and safeguarding for learners across all campuses. You will engage the full range of statutory, professional and voluntary services external to the College, to support the ongoing needs of individual learners, liaising with both Curriculum and Additional Learning Support Teams to ensure that a joined-up approach is adopted. You will lead the college approach to being a Trauma and ACEs informed institution and support the Assistant Principal to drive the achievement of the College’s Strategic Plan.

Welsh Language Facilitator – School of Care

As a Welsh Language Facilitator, you will provide individual and small group support for Welsh speaking learners to enable them to complete some of their studies in Welsh, on School of Care courses.

Lecturer in Electrical Engineering

As a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering, you will teach effectively on a range of courses and at a range of levels as agreed with your line manager. You will support learners to achieve successful outcomes and participate in retention and recruitment activities as appropriate. You would set high expectations for learners and contribute to an environment that encourages all learners to be aspirational.
