Foundation Learning

Coleg y Cymoedd offers courses for learners who may need additional support, have no formal qualifications or have not achieved the qualifications needed to access mainstream courses at Level 1 and above.

Learners are given the opportunity to study Entry Level 3 qualifications in a range of vocational topics. All courses provide opportunities for you to extend your skills and gain qualifications in literacy, numeracy and Digital Literacy.

Foundation courses are designed to prepare you for employment, for work based training, or to prepare you for further study on a mainstream course within Coleg y Cymoedd.

Applicants are welcome to visit the college campuses to meet staff before making an application.
