About

Nantgarw is home to Coleg y Cymoedd’s A level centre and a specialist rail training centre. Learners can also access a full range of part-time and full-time courses at all levels here.

The Sports Centre of Excellence at Nantgarw opened in 2023 and the campus is home to our female netball and rugby teams and make rugby union and football squads.

The Nangarw campus serves learners from Caerphilly, Pontypridd and beyond. It’s our closest campus to the Capital, lying less than eight miles from central Cardiff.
