Progression

Course Tutors formally review progression options for learners towards the end of the academic year and where appropriate, involve parents/ carers in this.

Learners’ may progress on to other and higher level courses within Coleg y Cymoedd.

For some learners, staying in college may mean a change of subject area, teaching team or even a different campus. Other learners may have completed their education in College and supported to move on.

The ALS team can:

– Help prepare learners that need additional support with this next step.

– Ensure support arrangements are planned and information is communicated and shared appropriately.

– Involve other agencies and services and offer advice and guidance on future options.
