27 February 2026The College is aware of the outcome of a recent Education Workforce Council (EWC) fitness to practise hearing involving a former member of staff, which has been reported in the media. The matter was considered by the EWC, which is the statutory body responsible for regulating the education workforce in Wales.
The College has clear safeguarding policies, professional standards and disciplinary processes in place which were followed in this instance. The individual concerned is no longer employed by the College.
