“Studying at Coleg y Cymoedd provided me with a broad foundational skill set that has equipped me for the professional creative industry. The partnership between CYC and Screen Alliance Wales has given me a fantastic opportunity to join some of the most exciting projects currently being filmed in Wales. SAW, the team at ‘His Dark Materials’ and my time at CYC have undoubtedly helped me begin my career and open doors to many exciting opportunities.”
“Our link with CYC through Screen Alliance Wales has gone from strength to strength. From being granted a residency at Nantgarw campus and navigating a stormy pandemic to currently employing 3 trainees to work at the core of our team on S3 HDM. Both CYC and SAW are doing it the right way. Encouraging and facilitating real life learning in both academic and vocational ways.
We are so excited to be deeply involved in this process of allowing a superb local talent pool to flow into the rivers of some of contemporary television’s most exciting programming.”
