Enrol Your Child at The Nursery

Early enquiries are encouraged, as places are snapped up fast each year.

Initial enquiries can be made by contacting the Nursery Manager, Gail Harris, on 01443 814237. Gail will advise you on the current method of enrolling your child at nursery.

Financial Contingency Fund (FCF) Support

The FCF is financial help to learners who are experiencing difficulties as a result of low income. Through FCF, the College can support eligible learners with childcare fees, up to a maximum of £48 per day.

About FCF

The Financial Contingency Fund is a support for learners who are aged 16+ on a full-time Further Education course – the fund is provided by the Welsh Government to Colleges to support learners. The fund is limited and subject to change and fluctuate from term to term which is due to the level of funding the College receives yearly.

Higher Education Learners are not eligible for this fund.

Additional Information on FCF

The budget for Childcare Support is limited and is allocated on a first come, first serve basis
The College only pays for fees incurred when the student is marked on the register as attending college
It is up to the learner to make sure they are satisfied with the childcare provider before entering into an appropriate legal agreement with the childcare provider

FCF Applications

Application forms will be available via your Prospect Account. You can also get more information from your Campus Services team, which is based in the Reception area of your Campus.

If your application is successful, you will receive an approval email from the Grants Officer, confirming the type of support and instructions about what to do next.
