Thomas Morgan

A teenager from Blackwood, is on track to his dream career as a pharmacologist after bagging a distinction* in his applied sciences qualification at Coleg y Cymoedd, securing his place to study Pharmacology at Glasgow University.

Thomas Morgan, 19, developed a passion for biology and pharmacy during his studies in college and loved taking part in experiments within the lab. Fascinated by the way the human body reacts to pharmaceuticals, he quickly determined that the subject was the route for him. He said: “I researched what career possibilities could lay ahead of me and I landed on Pharmacology as it was the perfect blend of biology and chemistry. I think it is the best path that could really help me make an impact on peoples lives.’
