AAT registration and membership fees are payable for this course. These fees will be discussed at interview stage.
The AAT accounting qualification gives you practical, internationally recognised finance and accountancy skills that can open doors for you in any industry across the world. You can study by day or evening.

You will need to have achieved the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
What will I study?
The final level deals with financial team leader skills, including financial statements for limited companies, Budgeting, Financial Performance and other Specialist learning areas.
How will I be assessed?
All learning areas of this qualification are assessed using AAT designed Computer Based Assessments, which can be in the form of a test or a project. All assessments are time constrained and invigilated and will need to be sat at the college on Monday evenings. A timetable of assessments will be given during induction.
Career Opportunities and Progression
On successful completion of the course you will be required by the AAT to work in an accounting environment for a full year (or the equivalent part time) after which time you will be eligible to apply for professional membership of the AAT and qualify to add the letters after your name. You could also go on to study the ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA at an Institute of Higher Education and receive certain exemptions from the first year of study.
