This course is suitable for learners who have an interest in business and how it operates.
This course will provide you an insight into the working world as well as gaining a qualification equivalent to 1 A Level.
What Will I Learn?
You will gain a broad understanding and the fundamentals of modern business thinking.
The BTEC units of study may include Marketing and Advertising, Business Law and Retail.
You will also gain confidence through developing independent learning skills and will be able to apply these skills to periods of work experience.
You will require 5 GCSEs Grades A*- C including Maths and English/Welsh Language or equivalent. (Possibly BTEC’s)
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
You will be assessed continuously through assignment based coursework. This could include topical case studies, presentations and practical work.
