What Will I Learn?
The foundation certificate in accounting Level 2 is made up of the following units:-
BOOKKEEPING TRANSACTIONS BOOKKEEPING CONTROLS ELEMENTS OF COSTING USING ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE SYNOPTIC ASSESSMENT
Students must successfully complete four unit assessments and one synoptic assessment to achieve this qualification. The proportion of this qualification assessed by external assessment is 100%.
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements. You will be invited to attend an interview and will need to pass a college based assessment.
Assessment
Students will be awarded an overall qualification grade (Distinction, Merit, or Pass). Students who do not achieve the qualification will not receive a qualification certificate, and will be shown as unclassified.

Career Progression
- On successful completion of the course you will be awarded a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, which will allow you to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting on successful completion of a college based assessment.
