Course Information
The course has been designed to help learners leaving college to gain employment by giving them real-life work experience in internship placements. The course has been designed for those with moderate learning difficulties or disabilities working at Pathway 2/3 in college. You will attend college one day a week and be on placement up to 4 days a week in a suitable location and placement discussed with you. Elite supported employment agency is in partnership with the college to help provide trained job coaches who will assist you in placement to ensure you settle in and learn the role.
What Will I Learn?
Whilst in college you will learn the skills you need for work; these will be based around discussions and practical activities in the classroom and will include the following.

Entry Requirements
Completion of at least one year in Coleg y Cymoedd on a Pathway 2 or 3 course. This course is not open to direct applicants. Successfully attending the interview process and gaining a suitable work placement, which the college will assist with.
Assessment
There is no formal assessment on this programme. Students will have their progress towards individual targets continuously assessed and reviewed. Reviews with students and their parents/carers will take place throughout the year. Progression is tracked through target setting and assessment.
