During my time at Coleg y Cymoedd I have spent four years learning and studying.

First I studied the CACHE Level 2 Diploma in Childcare and then the Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

I then realised that I had a passion to work with children, this led me to progress onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Children's Care Learning and Development.

From doing this course I have gained many skills and learnt different things that will have an impact on my future practice and career.

As well as meeting new friends that have the same motivation and ambition as me, I have had many job opportunities that I have undertaken from being on this course. These include working in a summer play scheme to a children's play centre.

Coleg y Cymoedd has helped me to start a new adventure and a career with Thomson and First Choice to become a Children's rep overseas. I will work in Zante for the summer in a children's club.

I have the college and the dedicated members of staff to thank for helping and supporting me throughout this course and enabling me to achieve and succeed my goals.
