This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians who wish to gain the skills and knowledge required to carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
You will learn how to safely carry out initial verification (2391-50) and periodic inspection and testing (2391-51) of electrical installations. This includes how to use test equipment, complete appropriate documentation, and understand inspection procedures and criteria.

You should be a qualified electrician holding the BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
This qualification supports career development into roles such as electrical inspector, electrical supervisor or electrical site manager. It is also essential for those working towards becoming a qualified supervisor for NICEIC/ELECSA/NAPIT
