Coleg y Cymoedd awarded for outstanding contribution

Coleg y Cymoedd recently celebrated the achievement of ‘Institutional Outstanding Contribution’ as part of the Reaching Wider National  Mentoring Celebration Events for South East Wales and South West Wales. 

These awards celebrate the successes and achievements of mentees, mentors, and partners who participate in the programme. 

A special mention to our Level 3 Sport learner Ludmila de Sousa who was shortlisted for the Mentee of the Year award. Congratulations to Ludmila on her university offers! She will be embarking on her next journey to university in 2025 to study Sport Coaching. 

After the event, Ludmila said “The mentoring project has had a great impact on me because it gave me a head start on what I should be looking for, starting with what I wanted to do and am able to study”
