Plus, one of the following:

Employed (inc. agency & zero hour contracts),
Self-employed,
Full-time carer,
Prisoner on day release

Entry requirements

The ideal candidate will hold an AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.

You should have 1 or more years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using AWS services

If applicants intend to complete any part of this programme online they should ensure that they have a device that is capable of downloading and running the latest desktop version of Microsoft Power BI. The device should meet the following minimum specification:

Minimum Processor: Intel i3 or AMD Ryzen 3
Minimum RAM: 8GB
Maximum Age: 5 years

Laptops can be provided to participants who attend the programme in-person.

Assessment

Exam lasting 130 minutes.

Career progression

After completing the AWS Certified Developer Associate, you could complete the AWS Solution Architect certification. You could also progress onto a HNC/D in Computing or Level 5 Diploma in Web Development.

Course dates will be discussed directly with the training provider upon successful completion of funding application. Any course dates arranged with the training provider prior to funding being secured may not be honoured – Course dates will only be confirmed once funding has been approved.
