Overview

Designed for professionals with experience in cloud computing, infrastructure management, and virtualisation, particularly those working with hybrid cloud environments.

Covers designing secure network architectures, implementing Zero Trust principles, managing identity and access, network monitoring, performance, automation, and troubleshooting.

What will I learn?

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

Design and implement secure, scalable hybrid-cloud network architectures, applying core networking principles, IP addressing, routing, and topologies like spineandleaf, while ensuring high availability through redundancy, autoscaling, and CDN integration
Integrate Zero Trust and identity based controls, configure SASE, micro segmentation, and enforce access using MFA, PKI, firewall rules, NAC, and cloud access security brokers
Monitor, automate, and optimise network performance using infrastructure-as-code tools, scripts, dashboards, logging, and alerting to maintain seamless hybrid-cloud operations
Diagnose and resolve hybrid-cloud network issues – from connectivity problems and DNS/VPN misconfigurations to latency, packet loss, firewall errors, and unauthorised access breaches
Apply governance, compliance, and cost-aware practices – understanding cloud cost management, regulatory requirements, and secure architecture documentation such as runbooks, network diagrams, and CMDB references
Leverage career guidance and structured learning, with five days of virtual classroom training, personal learning planning, mentoring, and support for planning and achieving CloudNetX certification
