Overview

This course is designed for data scientists who want to build and operate machine learning solutions at cloud scale using Microsoft Azure. It teaches learners how to manage data ingestion and preparation, model training and deployment, and machine learning solution monitoring using Azure Machine Learning and MLflow. The course also covers the use of Azure AI services, including Azure AI Search and Azure AI Foundry, and provides hands-on experience with tools like Azure Machine Learning Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Jupyter Notebooks.

What will I learn?

After completing this course, you will be able to design and create a suitable working environment for data science workloads, explore and prepare data, train and deploy machine learning models, implement pipelines, run jobs for production readiness, and manage scalable machine learning solutions. you will also learn to develop generative AI applications using Azure AI Foundry and optimise language models for AI applications.

Entry requirements

Learners should have a fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience writing Python code using libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, and Matplotlib. An understanding of data science concepts, including data preparation and model training using frameworks like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, is also required.

Assessment

The exam code is DP-100. It is a 100-minute proctored exam with a pass mark of 700 out of 1000. The exam includes interactive components.

Career progression

This certification qualifies professionals for roles such as Azure Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Developer. With further experience and certifications, individuals can progress to senior roles like AI Solutions Architect or Head of Data Science.
