This certification is designed for professionals with subject matter expertise in designing cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Microsoft Azure. Entry requirements

To earn this certification, you must first hold the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification. Candidates should have advanced experience in IT operations including networking, virtualisation, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. Experience with Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps processes is also recommended.

Assessment

The exam code is AZ-305. It is a 100 minute proctored exam with a pass mark of 700 out of 1000. The exam includes scenario-based and interactive components.

Career progression

This certification qualifies professionals for roles such as Azure Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, or Infrastructure Consultant. With further experience and certifications, individuals can progress to senior roles like Enterprise Architect or Head of Cloud Strategy.
