This expert-level certification is designed for professionals who translate cybersecurity strategies into comprehensive security solutions that protect an organisation’s assets, operations, and business processes. The course focuses on designing and evaluating cybersecurity strategies across Zero Trust architecture, Governance Risk Compliance (GRC), security operations, infrastructure applications, data, and AI. Learners will gain the skills to guide implementation and maintain security solutions using Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Entra ID.
After completing this course, you will be able to design a Zero Trust strategy and architecture, evaluate GRC and security operations strategies, design security for infrastructure, and develop strategies for securing data and applications. You will also learn to align solutions with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework (WAF), and Microsoft Cybersecurity Reference Architecture (MCRA), and apply Microsoft cloud security benchmarks.

Candidates should have advanced experience in identity and access, platform protection, security operations, securing data and applications, and hybrid and cloud implementations. It is strongly recommended that learners have already earned one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.
The exam code is SC-100. it is a 100 minute proctored exam with a pass mark of 700 out of 1000. The exam includes scenario-based and interactive components.
This certification qualifies professionals for roles such as Cybersecurity Architect, Security Solutions Architect, or Senior Security Engineer. With further experience, individuals may advance to leadership roles in enterprise security strategy, governance, or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) positions.
