To earn this certification, you must first hold either the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification. Candidates should have experience administering and developing in Azure, and implementing DevOps practices using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
The exam code is AZ-400. It is a 100 minute proctored exam with a pass mark of 700 out of 1000. The exam includes scenario-based and interactive components.
This certification qualifies professionals for roles such as DevOps Engineer, Cloud DevOps Consultant, or Automation Engineer. With further experience and certifications, individuals can progress to senior roles like Cloud Solutions Architect or Head of DevOps Strategy.
